WalkReport ("the App", developed by Adrian Danet) is committed to safeguarding the privacy of property inspectors, real estate professionals, landlords, and contractors. This Privacy Policy details how WalkReport handles data when you use the native iOS application.
Core Philosophy: WalkReport operates with a strict local-first, on-device architecture. I do not collect, monitor, monetize, or transmit your personal data, property inspection photos, video clips, or GPS locations to any external servers.
WalkReport requests access to your device's location services while using the app (NSLocationWhenInUseUsageDescription). Location data is processed strictly on-device to automatically burn cardinal GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude) and reverse-geocoded property street addresses into inspection photos and within generated A4 PDF reports. Location data is never shared with third parties or advertisers.
The app requests camera and microphone access (NSCameraUsageDescription, NSMicrophoneUsageDescription) solely to capture condition inspection photos and short walkthrough video recordings.
WalkReport requests photo library access (NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription, NSPhotoLibraryAddUsageDescription) to enable importing property photos/videos from your library into inspection reports and saving watermarked inspection media to your device upon request.
All property addresses, client names, inspector notes, and reports remain stored securely in your device's local application sandbox.
When you choose to export an executive A4 PDF condition report or a complete Inspection Package (.ZIP), files are transferred via Apple's native iOS Document Picker and Share Sheet directly to your personal iCloud Drive, local Files app, or selected sharing channels (such as AirDrop, WhatsApp, or Mail). Neither I nor any external server has access to these exported files.
WalkReport contains no third-party advertising SDKs, no behavioral trackers, and no third-party analytics frameworks (such as Google Analytics or Firebase). WalkReport fully complies with Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.
You retain complete ownership and control over all inspection records. You may delete any photo, video, or entire inspection report at any time within the app. Uninstalling the application completely erases all data residing in the local application sandbox.
